SPONSORS

Dear Potential Sponsor,

We invite you to participate in this year’s Sixth Annual Onyx (formerly NAAFA) Exhibit. For the past five years, the Northwest African American Fine Arts (NAAFA) Exhibit has been the only event of its kind to feature the beauty, depth, and richness of artists in the Pacific Northwest. We invite you to join us in celebrating our new name while continuing to honor the talent of African American artists living in our community.

ONYX is organized entirely by the grassroots and voluntary efforts of a group of people committed to celebrate and promote the work of African American artists. Funding in past years has come principally from artist’s entry fees. Recently, however, we have been encouraged that business leaders and private donors are also realizing the value brought to the community through such an exhibit. We invite you to join this growing number of businesses and individuals allowing us to showcase additional artists from our community and continue to encourage the creative spirit of aspiring artists.

Your contribution will help us bring more people together to experience Onyx, foster the arts, learn from one another, and ultimately enrich our community. All sponsors will be invited to a special preview of the exhibit.

This year we offer 4 Sponsor Levels:

“GOLDEN PALETTE” - Sponsors who contrubute $1,000 or more receive an event poster signed by the artists; mention in all promotional materials, press releases, and the event program; a link on the NAAFA website; and placement of business materials and special acknowledgement at all NAAFA events.

“SILVER PAINTBRUSH” - Sponsors who donate $500 - $999 receive mention in select promotional materials, press releases, and the event program; a link on the new Onyx website; and placement of business materials at the Artist’s Reception.

“BRONZE MALETT” - Sponsors who donate $499 - $101 receive mention in the event program; a link on the NAAFA website; and placement of business materials at the Artist’s Reception.

"COPPER PEN" - Sponsors who give $200 or less receive mention in the event program.

Thanks in advance for your consideration. You will find a sponsor sign-up form attached. Do not hesitate to call us at (206) 888-9597 if you have any questions or need more information. We look forward to hearing from you. Please download your sponsor form.
