Honoring Dr. Maxine Mimms a Pioneer and Visionary

Onyx Fine Arts Collective, a nonprofit all-volunteer organization whose mission is to showcase the visual artwork produced by artists of African descent from the Pacific Northwest, is happy to join all who celebrate the homegoing of Dr. Maxine Mimms. Onyx acknowledges the far-reaching influence and contributions she made in the area of Education, especially at Evergreen State College. Onyx also recognizes Dr. Mimms as a leader showing the achievements possible through clear vision, hard work, and dedication.
